Function Of The NNMA Governing Board
The Board, amongst other things is responsible for:
(i) The award of NNOM to deserving Nigerians;
(ii) Institution of measures which are carefully designed to promote intellectual and academic excellence among Nigerians. In pursuance of this, the Board is to liaise with academic, professional and research institutions in Nigeria;
(iii) Management of the Nigerian National Merit Award Endowment Fund;
(iv) Implementing such other things which, in the opinion of the Board, are necessary to ensure the efficient performance of its functions.
